Although the 2nd arrondissement is the smallest in the capital, it’s home to a host of fine addresses. Built around the former Paris stock exchange, the district is home to the magnificent and timeless Covered Passages, streets with old-world charm and a myriad of boutiques, shops and, of course, restaurants! We’d like to introduce you to 6 of our favorite addresses.
Gyoza Bar
If the gyoza craze has been sweeping Paris for a few years now, it’s hard to find anything as tasty as this stall in the heart of the city. The Gyoza Bar, nestled in the idyllic Passage des Panoramas[/trackLink], is a veritable temple to Japanese ravioli, with a speakeasy. Masterfully crafted by chefs Shinichi Sato and Guillaume Guedj, the ultra-simple yet devilishly effective menu will transport you straight to the land of the rising sun.

Le Stock
In the heart of the Bourse district, a veritable UFO has appeared on the culinary scene. Le Stock, a gourmet project led by four friends, is the new restaurant that’s making a splash in the neighborhood. With its well-kept decor, friendly atmosphere and fine cuisine, this brand-new spot is getting good press thanks to all these attributes. In any case, we went to try out this colorful address to check it out.

Manhattn’s Burgers
From New York to Brussels, and now Paris! Manhattn’s Burgers is the story of two Belgian brothers who moved to New York to run a waffle food truck. Back in Belgium, they decided to bring New York back with them, and opened Manhattn’s Burgers. It’s a hit. After 7 Belgian addresses, the brand recently landed in Paris, in the heart of the capital’s culinary epicenter: rue Montorgueil. When you bite into one of their burgers, it’s easy to see why our Belgian friends were so attracted to them: generous burgers with quality ingredients, in a New York decor that almost makes you forget, for a moment, what city you’re in.

Little Havana
Colorful, authentic and lively, Little Havana recently opened its doors in the heart of rue d’Argout. A Mecca for Cuban street food, it offers delicious bocadillos and tapas, each as tasty as the next. A culinary adventure awaits you here, in an exotic setting that pays homage to Tierra Caliente.

Popine
In our ranking of the best pizzas in Paris, Popine is the authentic one that everyone loves. This 2nd arrondissement pizzeria has been delighting Parisians since it opened. Authentic and accessible, this establishment gives pride of place to the Neapolitan tradition, offering pizzas with puffed edges and tasty ingredients, as well as a fine selection of desserts. The icing on the cake is the margherita, often available for €5 at lunchtime.

Mama Nissa
Killer alert! This Algerian restaurant offers delicious homemade dishes to eat in or take away. We love the cocas, turnovers filled with fish, beef or vegetables. As for the main course, we love the Kabyle couscous with barley and 5 vegetables! A fragrant, melt-in-your-mouth couscous.

Lombem
This last address is for the most meat-loving Parisians! Lombem, whose name comes from the slang for butcher, is located at 22 passage. Here, you can treat yourself to superb butcher’s cuts in a warm and inviting setting. For the more adventurous, you can even enjoy a rodeo with Marguerite, the mad electric cow from the establishment’s hidden bar!

Pizz’Aria
After Anahi in the Marais and Beefbar a stone’s throw from the Champs-ElysĂ©es, Italian-British entrepreneur Riccardo Giraudi has taken over the rue Montmartre with a brand new concept dedicated to a very special Italian specialty: Pinsa Romana. In a Wes Anderson-style setting, expect to taste the surprisingly airy thickness of this specialty. A place to try!

Brasserie Dubillot
Building on the success of the deliciously franchouillarde Brasserie Bellanger, the Nouvelle Garde team has unveiled Brasserie Dubillot for summer 2021, which, like its big sister, brilliantly combines tradition and responsible pleasures in its bright, colorful setting. On the plate, you’ll love the exceptional meats and nuggets sourced directly from producers throughout France.

Faggio
It’s hard to make a selection of the best restaurants without including an Italian one… And in the Passage des Panoramas, it’s Faggio takes the cake. On the even side of the gallery, the good smells of the beechwood oven waft in from the pizzeria. Between a delicious burrata and a homemade tiramisu, treat yourself to one of chef Davide Luca ‘s delicious creations and enjoy…
Faggio – 16, passage des Panoramas, 75002
For dessert: Cédric Grolet Café
After Le Meurice and OpĂ©ra, famous pastry chef CĂ©dric Grolet recently opened his own coffee shop. And the least we can say is that the “CĂ©dric Grolet CafĂ©” is already attracting crowds. Following in the footsteps of his iconic trompe-l’oeil pastries, the talented chef is now surprising people with his new, unusual, decadently gourmet creations. These include an incredible croissant-beignet that overturns traditional pastry codes. And there’s another creation that’s particularly appealing to fans of the unusual: an XXL pizza-cookie!
