The smallest arrondissement in the capital, the 2nd nonetheless boasts a host of wonderful places to visit. Centered around the former Paris Stock Exchange, the neighborhood is home to magnificent, timeless covered passages, charming old streets, and a myriad of shops, businesses, and of course⊠restaurants! Today, we present six of these places that make our mouths water.
Gyoza Bar
While the gyoza craze has taken Paris by storm in recent years, itâs hard to find food as tasty as whatâs on offer at this shop in the heart of the city. The Gyoza Bar, tucked away in the idyllic Passage des Panoramas, is a veritable temple of Japanese ravioli with a speakeasy vibe. Masterfully crafted by chefs Shinichi Sato and Guillaume Guedj, the menu is ultra-simple and devilishly effective, transporting you straight to the land of the rising sun.

Manhattnâs Burgers

From New York to Brussels, and now Paris!Manhattnâs Burgers is the story of two Belgian brothers who moved to New York to run a waffle food truck. Upon returning to Belgium, the two men decided to bring a little bit of New York back with them and opened Manhattnâs Burgers. It was a huge success. After opening seven locations in Belgium, the brand recently arrived in Paris in the heart of the capitalâs culinary epicenter:Rue Montorgueil. When you take a bite of one of their burgers, you instantly understand what attracted our Belgian friends: generous hamburgers made with quality ingredients, in a New York-style setting that almost makes you forget, for a moment, which city you are in.
