The 2nd is the capital’s smallest arrondissement, yet it’s home to a host of fine addresses. Built around the former Paris stock exchange, the district is home to the magnificent and timeless covered passages and a myriad of boutiques, shops and, of course, restaurants! Today, we present 6 of these addresses that make us melt with envy.
Gyoza Bar
If the gyoza craze has been sweeping Paris for a few years now, it’s hard to find a dish as tasty as this one in the heart of the city. Le Gyoza Bar nestled in the idyllic passage des Panoramas is a veritable temple to Japanese ravioli, complete with a speakeasy. Masterfully crafted by chefs Shinichi Sato and Guillaume Guedj, the menu is ultra-simple and devilishly effective, transporting you straight to the land of the rising sun.

Manhattn’s Burgers
From New York to Brussels, and now Paris! Manhattn’s Burgers is the story of two Belgian brothers who move to New York to run a waffle food truck. Back in Belgium, the two men decided to bring New York back with them, and opened Manhattn’s Burgers. It’s a cardboard box. After 7 Belgian addresses, the brand recently landed in Paris, in the heart of the capital’s culinary epicenter: rue Montorgueil. When you bite into one of their burgers, it’s easy to see why our Belgian friends were so attracted to them: generous burgers with quality ingredients, in a New York decor that almost makes you forget, for a moment, what city you’re in.
Manhattn’s Burgers – 59 Rue Montorgueil, 75002 Paris
Little Havana
Colorful, authentic and lively, Little Havana recently opened its doors in the heart of Rue d’Argout. A Mecca of Cuban street food, it offers delicious bocadillos and tapas, each as tasty as the next. A wonderful culinary adventure awaits you here, in an exotic setting in tribute to the Tribute Tierra Caliente.

Popine
In our ranking of the best pizzas in Paris popine is the authentic pizza that everyone loves. The 2nd arrondissement pizzeria has been delighting Parisians ever since it opened. Authentic and accessible, this establishment is a fine example of Neapolitan neapolitan tradition offering pizzas with puffed edges and tasty ingredients, as well as a fine selection of desserts. The icing on the cake is that the chain often offers margherita for 5 euros€ at lunchtime.

Mama Nissa
Killing alert! This Algerian restaurant offers delicious home-made dishes to eat in or take away. We love cocas, filled turnovers with fish, beef or vegetables. As for the main course, we’ve fallen in love with couscous kabyle à l’orge, aux 5 légumes! A fragrant, melt-in-the-mouth couscous.
Mama Nissa – 14 Rue Mandar, 75002 Paris
Lombem
This last address is for the most meat-loving Parisians! At 22 passage, Lombem, whose name comes from the slang for butcher, is hidden away. Here, you can indulge in superb butcher’s cuts in a warm and inviting setting. For the more adventurous, it’s even possible to enjoy a rodeo with Marguerite, the mad electric cow from the establishment’s hidden bar!

Pizz’Aria
After Anahi in the Marais and Beefbar a stone’s throw from the Champs-Elysées, Italian-British entrepreneur Riccardo Giraudi has taken over rue Montmartre with a brand new concept dedicated to a very special Italian specialty: Pinsa Romana. In a Wes Anderson-style setting, expect to taste the surprising airy thickness of this specialty. An address worth trying out!

Building on the success of the deliciously franchouillarde Brasserie Bellanger in summer 2021, the Nouvelle Garde team unveiled the Brasserie Dubillot which, like its big sister, brilliantly combines tradition and responsible pleasures in a bright, colorful setting. On the plate, you’ll love the exceptional meats and nuggets sourced directly from producers throughout France.

For dessert : Cédric Grolet Café
After Le Meurice and Opéra, famous pastry chef Cédric Grolet recently opened his Coffee-shop. And the least we can say is that the “Cédric Grolet Café” is already attracting crowds. After his iconic trompe-l’oeil pastries, the talented chef takes us by surprise with his unusual, decadent creations. These include an incredible croissant-beignet that turns traditional pastry codes on their head. And another creation is particularly appealing to fans of the unusual: an XXL pizza-cookie!
