Always on the lookout best Parisian addresses We’ve compiled a list of our favorite places to enjoy a good Greek meal. From the traditional tomato and onion salad in homemade bread, to crispy doner bread and gyros in a good pita, we’ve come up with our favorite spots!
Les Frères Batignolles
Starting to make a name for itself in the tomato and onion salad game, Les Frères des Batignolles, which recently opened a new address on rue de Clignancourt, undoubtedly serves one of the best kebabs in Paris. Generous, with a homemade marinade and good fries, it’s well worth the detour!
Les Frères Batignolles – 45, rue des Batignolles, 75017 and 8, rue de Clignancourt, 75018
Sürpriz
Nearly five years ago, Sürpriz set up shop in the Oberkampf district of Paris, immediately becoming a must for kebab aficionados. Inspired by Berlin’s famous döners, with Turkish bread and crunchy vegetables, the place quickly won over local fans before gaining notoriety throughout the capital! Today, the best Berlin kebab in Paris delights local residents at 3 Parisian addresses.

Gemüse
If you live in the 18th arrondissement, you’ve no doubt noticed a small crowd queuing up every lunchtime in front of a green shopfront at the top of rue Ramey. This is the home of Gemüse, which delivers hundreds of good doner kebap every day. It ticks all the boxes of good Berliner, and richly deserves its place here!
Gemüse – 61, rue Ramey, 75018
Horizontal
While eccentric culinary concepts abound in the four corners of Paris, none has yet ventured into the realm ofHorizontal, the “artisan québabiste” who operates daily in Montreuil. Traditionally, and almost religiously, prepared vertically in other establishments, the meat spit here is cooked horizontally, hence the name of the restaurant. So, genius or blasphemy?
Horizontal – 19, rue de l’Église, Montreuil
Les 4 Frères Bedri
In the heart of the bustling 10th arrondissement, many kebab shops delight the hungry every day, but few are as delicious as Les 4 Frères Bedri. Featuring tasty home-cured meats and fresh crudités, the sandwich is unique in that it doesn’t make you feel flat on your back after eating it, which is something to be proud of when you’re talking about a Greek! Give it a try!
38, rue Louis-Blanc, 75010
Impact Berliner
If you’re a kebab fan, you’ll be aware that the doner has been on a roll in recent months. Served in a large crusty bun, Berlin’s variation on the meat sandwich has all the capital’s gourmands in a frenzy. And while more and more gourmets are getting in on the act, few establishments can offer a Berliner like Impact!
Impact Berliner Kebap – 119, rue du Chemin-Vert, 75011
The 129
Although this establishment isn’t in Paris, we’re making the exception to mention the legend, the kebab to try in Île-de-France. Since 2002, Le 129 has been delighting Parisians with big appetites, and today its name is always mentioned when it comes to listing the best kebabs in the Paris region. Thanks to the originality and generosity of its recipes, the sandwich shop has made a well-deserved name for itself.
Le 129 – 129 bis, rue Gabriel Péri – Saint-Denis
Streaters
This year, the award for best kebab in Paris went to Streaters, a gourmet establishment on rue des Pyrénées in the 20th arrondissement. The menu at this large, red-fronted snack bar includes the traditional, holy kebab, as well as a host of other gourmet (and sometimes very hearty) dishes, such as tenders, burgers and tacos.
