Paris in 24h, mission impossible? But no! The proof is in this little program, prepared just for you. Top time!
Breakfast on the Champs-Elysées (9am – 10am)
What could be more cliché, but also more symbolic, than having a great breakfast on the Champs-Élysées? The most beautiful avenue in the world is one of the highlights of your visit to Paris. We recommend a visit to Ladurée, to enjoy a delicious cup of tea or coffee and some macaroons. Once you’ve finished, you can walk up the fields to the Arc-de-Triomphe for a closer look.
📍Ladurée, 75 Avenue des Champs-Élysées
A walk to the Eiffel Tower (11am – 12:30pm)
For this express 24-hour tour of Paris, head for the Eiffel Tower! From the Champs-Élysées, it’s a good half-hour’s walk. An opportunity to explore the city and admire its magnificent Haussmann architecture. We’ll take time to admire the Place Trocadéro from every angle, take photos of its pretty fountain and admire the Eiffel Tower from the Pont Iéna. If you’d like to visit, we advise you to plan your visit in advance so as not to waste too much time!
📍Eiffel Tower, 5 Av. Anatole France, 75007 Paris
Lunch break in the 8ᵉ arrondissement (12:30 pm – 2:30 pm)
After saying hello to the Eiffel Tower, we continue our stroll along the Seine to reach the sublime Pont Alexandre III, from where you can admire the golden Dôme des Invalides. Once you’ve crossed the bridge, you’ll arrive in the 8th arrondissement, where you’ll see the Grand Palais and Petit Palais. Time for lunch! We recommend the Brasserie l’Alsace, where you can enjoy the best of Alsatian cuisine at any time of day !
📍L’Alsace, 39 Av. des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris
A bucolic stroll through the Jardin des Tuileries to the Louvre (2:30 pm – 4 pm)
After a hearty lunch, head for the Place de la Concorde to admire the Egyptian obelisk, then the delightful Jardin des Tuileries. Perfectly symmetrical, these royal gardens are sublime in any weather. We go there to have a coffee, sit on a bench facing the fountains, stretch our legs and, of course, admire the Louvre pyramid a little further on.
📍 Jardin des Tuileries, 75001 Paris
Drop by the Ile de la Cité for a snack break (4 pm – 6 pm)
We continue our 24-hour Paris marathon on the Ile de la Cité. From here, you can program a visit to the Sainte-Chapelle and the Conciergerie, arguably the most beautiful royal chapel in France. If you’re short of time, continue on to Notre Dame, which has been undergoing renovation since the fire, but can still be seen from the outside. Finally, enjoy a cup of coffee and some sweet treats at the legendary Café de Flore, the long-standing haunt of Paris’s intellectuals and writers.
📍Sainte Chapelle, 10 Bd du Palais, 75001 Paris
📍Café de Flore, 172 Bd Saint-Germain, 75006 Paris
Shopping and dinner in the marsh (6 pm – 9 pm)
Paris in 24 hours wouldn’t be complete without a shopping spree. For this, we recommend a visit to the Marais, the vibrant district of the 3rd arrondissement. After passing the astonishing Centre Pompidou, stroll through the lively, colorful streets of the district. You’ll find everything you need to give your home or wardrobe a makeover! For dinner, there’s something for everyone! From fancy brasseries to local falafels…you’ll be spoilt for choice! Our favorite? L’Enoteca and its delicious transalpine cuisine.
📍L’Enoteca – 25, rue Charles V, 75004
See Paris illuminated from the lovely Montmartre district (9 pm – 10 pm)
After dinner, it’s off to the metro for the half-hour ride we need to get around Montmartre. At night, this district has areas of ancient villages that make it even more charming. You’ll need a bit of courage to climb the 222 steps to the top of the hill. From here, you can not only get a closer look at the basilica, but also admire one of the most romantic views in Paris. For the less athletic, a funicular will take you to the summit effortlessly! A view and a neighbourhood not to be missed!
Party all night long (10pm – ??)
You know the saying “Paris is a party”! And what would 24 hours in Paris be without a festive evening? The capital abounds in magnificent festive restaurants, as well as electro clubs and more. Not far from Montmartre is La Machine du Moulin Rouge, a must for Parisian night owls. For a more hushed ambience, we recommend a speakeasy for a last secret rendezvous…
