Even though the beau jours are (almost) behind us, a thousand outdoor activities are still on offer! Guinguettes, restaurants on the terrace or open-airs: the field of all possibilities is open to us while the mild temperatures are still with us! And for the gourmets among us, we’ll be heading to the pagoda of the bois de Vincennes, where the marvelous Asian Street Food Festival will be taking place, showcasing all the gastronomies of the Orient.
Asian street food in the spotlight at the Pagode de Vincennes
In the bays of the capital, Asian gastronomy is honored in all its forms to the delight of fine gourmets. Baos, ramens, korean barbecues or even sushis for the more traditional among you: all the major players in Asian cuisine will of course be united at this beautiful and unusual culinary feast.
A total of 25 colorful and surprising stands will be set up in the Bois de Vincennes pagoda. And that’s as many different specialties waiting to be devoured on September 7 and 8. China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam: the gastronomies we all know will be in the spotlight, as well as lesser-known ones, such as dishes from Cambodia, the Philippines or Laos.
And at the Asian Street Food Festival, it’s not just your taste buds that are in for a treat! The teams behind this gourmet gathering have concocted quite a program for us! Karaoke, DJ sets, K-Pop shows and manga animations: everything has been planned to ensure we have a truly idyllic time!
