Tableware from Michelin-starred restaurants at your table? A brand-new sale offers the public the chance to acquire tableware from some of the capital’s finest establishments. A prestigious, eco-responsible event, Vaisselle de Chefs is coming to Paris for the first time. See you in February 2025!
La Vaisselle des Chefs, the eco-solidarity prestige sale
What happens to the plates, cutlery and dishes of France’s top restaurants when they decide to change their crockery? To save them a trip to the garbage can, the La Vaisselle des Chefs sale was born 15 years ago. This recurring event, which has attracted around a hundred chefs, gives a second life to these pieces of France’s gastronomic heritage, and gets them into circulation at affordable prices! Until now, tableware lovers, collectors and second-hand enthusiasts have been able to take advantage of this bargain in Bordeaux, Lyon and Alsace, but in 2025, the sale is coming to Paris.
Pieces from Le Meurice, Cheval Blanc and the Plaza Athénée are up for grabs!
This first Parisian edition of Vaisselle des Chefs will take place in early February at Césure (in the 5th arrondissement).
Crockery, cutlery, glassware and even some furniture from some of Paris’s most renowned restaurants will be on the lookout for new owners! A total of 10,000 pieces will be on offer, with prices starting at €10 for plates.

Which establishments will be offering their tableware for sale this time? Le Marsan (owned by Hélène Darroze), Cheval Blanc, Le Plaza Athénée and Le Meurice! Les Deux Magots will also be taking part, selling bistro tables and chairs… a must for fans of this cult St-Germain-des-Près address! Ladurée will also be taking part, with a number of pieces made by Bernardeau, a Limoges porcelain manufacturer, as will Anne-Sophie Pic!
One last thing to know: part of the funds raised will be donated to the Apprentis d’Auteuil, and the pieces that don’t find takers will be given to the Apprentis d’Auteuil and Emmaüs (Césure boutique).
