From October 11 to 13, several towns in the 94 département and south-east Paris will be hosting artistic and entertaining street art events. Meetings, guided walks, exhibitions… Discover the program for Phénomen’art, the Val-de-Marne street art festival.
Phénomen’art, a street art festival rooted in Val-de-Marne
Phénomen’art is the showcase festival for street art in the Val-de-Marne. From Vitry-sur-Seine to Fontenay-sous-Bois, long-time havens of street artists, to municipalities recently converted to the trend, the Val-de-Marne department defends its street art heritage!
Created in 2019 to promote a vibrant culture and encourage encounters between artists and the public, each year Phénomen’art rolls out its program of events(some of which are free) throughout the 94 département (in Maisons-Alfort, Champigny-sur-Marne, Vincennes…) as well as in the capital (mainly in the 13th arrondissement)! The new edition takes place from October 11 to 13, and will offer 3 days of celebration of urban cultures.
Three days of urban strolls, exhibitions and workshops
Ivry-sur-Seine, Bonneuil-sur-Marne, Cachan, Charenton le Pont… For three days, a dozen towns in the 94 region, as well as sites in Paris, will be hosting a bevy of activities and talent (Demoiselle MM, JokoArt, Mosko…)!
Two large-scale murals will be unveiled during the festival, in Bonneuil-sur-Marne (135 m²) and Ivry-sur-Seine. The murals will be created by local artists in front of the public!
The festival is also a great opportunity to explore your neighborhood or neighboring town and discover their street art. Strolls will be organized in Vitry-sur-Seine, Paris 13ème or Champigny-sur-Marne, at a cost of €5.
Many other events to meet artists, learn about certain practices and discover the diversity of this culture await you: light painting or stencil workshops, open doors to creative venues, exhibitions… Explore the world of street art from every angle!
