From July 26 to August 11, the Olympic Games will set the pace in Paris. For the lucky ones, you’ll be able to experience them first-hand with your tickets. But for the others, the Paris Olympics will be celebrated at home, or in the fan zones. Starting this summer, 25 celebration zones will be set up in Paris and around 30 in all the departments of the Paris region. We’ll explain!
Discover the 25 Paris Olympic fan zones
Good news for those who couldn’t get a ticket: several fan zones will be set up in Paris and throughout the Île-de-France region to make the most of the Paris Olympic Games. All arrondissements will be concerned, except the 7th.

In these areas, you can watch Olympic competitions free of charge on the big screen, enjoy refreshments and take part in sporting and cultural activities. For the occasion, Paris City Hall will be decked out in Olympic colors.
Two festivities sites will be a little different from the others. In addition to its fan zone, the Place du Trocadéro will host the “Champions Park”, to celebrate the new champions who will parade with their medals every day. The Parc de la Villette, meanwhile, will play host to the Club de France, where French medallists, their families and fans will gather to celebrate their victories. The park is ready to welcome up to 700,000 people during the entire Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Some thirty fan zones will be set up by this summer in the Paris region
The Île-de-France region is also entitled to its own celebration zones! In detail, there will be two celebration zones per department. Up to 5,000 guests can be accommodated free of charge during all games. To date, 13 fan zones have been approved by the government:
