Cherry blossom festival returns in March 2024
In Japan, Hanami is a wonderful ode to nature. A true tradition in the archipelago, Hanami literally means “looking at the flowers”. During this eagerly-awaited event, the Sakura blossoms symbolize prosperity, the return of spring and the ephemeral nature of all things. In the Hauts de Seine department, the cherry blossom festival in the Parc de Sceaux is also eagerly awaited. Every year lovers of the land of the Rising Sun for a dreamlike picnic under the trees.
