Chef Cyril Lignac’s multicolored marshmallow bears: a made-to-measure selection
These little marvels are much more than simple chocolate marshmallows; they are genuine chef creations. Right in the heart of his corner La Chocolaterie, on the third floor of Les Galeries, Cyril Lignac takes the time to share his favorites and reveal what makes his teddy bears so special. Follow us as we take you to the heart of the Gummy Bear Bar run by Cyril Lignac, Paris Secret’s favorite chef!
The hardest part? Choosing from among all the flavours on offer! If you’re not sure, Cyril Lignac’s absolute favorite is the Praline Pecan Bear. The Chef explains that the key to this crunchy texture is to add a little praline inside, for that deliciously regressive mouthfeel. A melting, crunchy marshmallow bear, which makes it his favorite.
Of course, we can’t overlook the indestructible Raspberry flavor, with its dark chocolate coating enhanced by a pretty red line. Another flavor that stands out for its originality is Matcha, a must-have for Cyril Lignac , a self-respecting fan of Japan. This teddy bear is made with matcha chocolate and a delicate vanilla marshmallow. Other classics, such as the simple but effective Café or the Dulcey , are also perfect for composing your ideal box.
For purists, there’s always the choice of tradition with the Praliné Noisette, which the chef describes as “the classic of classics”. A sure bet, as is the ultra-trendy Pistache. For Cyril Lignac, these little treats, which take us back to childhood, can be devoured without hunger. In fact, the Chef confesses to ” emptying the box in two minutes in front of the TV “. And you, will you take the time to savor them, or will you just take a bite?
