Are you interested in disco soup? Chef Jean Covillault invites you to take part in this festive, anti-gaspi event, in which several people prepare soup together, to the sound of music! Put on your apron, the chef awaits you at the end of March at La Communale!
Join in the anti-gaspi cooking dance
Join the disco soup movement ! (And no, disco soup isn’t a failed disco, or a disco where you’ll be served soup)!
Introduced in the French capital in 2012, disco soup was born out of a desire to take action against food waste, by cooking collectively with unsold products or produce destined for the garbage can, but still perfectly edible! Disco soup is not only an activist activity, it’s also an incredibly joyful and festive one! Never before has cooking up a storm been so much fun and so much fun as during these sessions, which appeal to people from all walks of life!
Jean Covillault’s disco soup in the kitchen
At the end of March, a former Top Chef will orchestrate a disco soup of gargantuan proportions at La Communale. Chef Jean Covillault is calling for 1,000 participants ready to cook dozens and dozens of kilos of ungainly vegetables, to the sound of music and alongside him!
On Saturday 29th, come along with your peeler to peel, chop and soup potatoes and other squash recovered by the NOUS Anti-Gaspigrocery store network! Count on a lively DJ set to motivate the troops! And after the collective effort, you’ll be rewarded with a tasty soup in the company of the day’s other kitchen helpers!
