So simple and yet so rich in recipes and variety, pasta is always a good idea for lunch or dinner. From comfort-food ham and cheese coquillettes to surprising squid ink spaghetti and delicate ravioli, there are a thousand ways to enjoy a good pasta dish, and just as many chances to feast. And in Paris, good restaurants serving them are legion. We’ve selected our favorites for you!
Passerini
If you’re going to make a selection of the best pastas, you might as well start with the boss. With his restaurant in the 12th arrondissement, Passerini has put everyone in agreement, to the point of winning the title of best Italian restaurant in the world (outside Italy) in 2019. Needless to say, it’s home to some of the finest and most delicious pasta dishes in Paris!
Passerini – 65, rue Traversière, 75012
Salento Marais
With its retro-chic setting, delicious antipasti and, of course, incredibly good pastas, Salento Marais ticks all the boxes of a good Italian restaurant, and is a must for all pasta lovers in the capital!
Salento Marais – 6, rue de Jarente, 75004
Mamma Primi
Big Mamma and one of its flagship restaurants, Mamma Primi, need no introduction. Here, pasta is perfectly al dente, while sauces are rich and creamy. The restaurant also offers a range of reasonably priced wines in a relaxed atmosphere, creating a mouth-watering culinary experience.
Mamma Primi – 18, rue Boursault, 75017
Adela
Fresh pasta and Art Nouveau is the winning formula at Adela, a new address just a stone’s throw from the Grand Rex. We go there, among other things, for its sublime decor, a nod to the brasseries of the late 19th century, retro and modern at the same time! We’ll also stay for its pasta recipes, which are tasty, not too boring and ultra-reasonably priced for the neighborhood (under €20 on average)!
Adela – 20 Rue du Faubourg Poissonnière, 75010
Il Grano
Still in the 17th arrondissement, there’s another great pastas restaurant. Il Grano serves good Roman pizzas, but above all incredible fresh pastas with rich and varied recipes, including a good selection of vegetarian options. All in all, you’ll always have a great time in this bright, colorful space.
Il Grano – 212 bis, boulevard Pereire, 75017
Il Carpaccio
For a refined culinary experience, head to the Royal Monceau, home to the remarkable Il Carpaccio restaurant. This venue is a true tribute to Italian cuisine, led by talented chefs Oliver Piras and Alessandra Del Favero. They offer exceptional Italian dishes daily from an exclusive menu, making Il Carpaccio a benchmark for Italian gastronomy in Paris.
Il Carpaccio – Royal Monceau – 37, avenue Hoche, 75008
Gruppomimo
With several locations in Paris, this restaurant offers an Italian culinary experience with pasta prepared in the traditional way, with a special mention for the truffle pasta prepared directly in the wheel of cheese. An authentic Italian experience awaits you during your evening at Gruppomimo.
