If you’re looking for the best macaron in the Ile-de-France region, or indeed in the whole of France, we might just have the answer for you! After the best croissant in Paris and the best pain au chocolat in France, the Seine-et-Marne département and the Syndicat des Boulangers du Grand Paris have just voted for the best macaron in Ile-de-France. From chocolate classics to more original recipes, one Ile-de-France establishment stood out from the rest.
And the bakery-patisserie with the best macaron of 2024 is…
La Pelle & la Toque bakeries in Sannois and L’Isle-Adam, run by Anthony and Laurine Ragaine, have just won two gold and two bronze medals for their exceptional macarons.
Thanks to his lemon-mint creation, which plays on acidic tones with a hint of freshness, the pastry chef at the Sannois boutique, Lofti, won gold in the “innovative macaron” category. His colleague Jérémy, from L’Isle-Adam, also took first place with a delicious chocolate macaron. Lofti’s chocolate macaron and Jérémy’s foie gras and fig macaron also won bronze medals. As you can see, there’s something for everyone.
