Enjoy Paris Plages
Yes, summer in Paris inevitably means Paris Plages. It’s a great place to have fun under the parasols, and to take a dip with the whole family. This year, the Canal Saint-Martin becomes the new Paris Plages bathing site. But you can always go to the Bassin de la Villette or the Parc Rives-de-Seine.
A picnic in the park with your children this summer
When the weather’s nice, you really want to enjoy the sun’s rays. If the weather is good and not too hot, why not organize a picnic in one of Paris’s parks? It can be a nice snack or a lunch on the grass! And you could even get the older kids involved in making the meal. What a great way to make memories.
Admire the Olympic flame with your family
As you all know, the Paris Olympics will be setting the pace in the capital all summer long. This major sporting event is also a great moment to experience with your children. In fact, the olympic flame will be set up for the duration of the games in the Tuileries Gardens. You can admire it and tell your children all about the journey it took to get here!

This year, with the Olympic Games in full swing, the tuileries Festival will take place in the Bois de Boulogne. You’ll find bumper cars, ghost trains, rifle shooting and lots of other fun family activities.

Did you know that numerous lakes near Paris? And what’s more, you can enjoy a peaceful swim in the middle of nature. We recommend the Vaires-Torcy lake and its leisure island. You can splash around, of course, but you can also take advantage of its many water attractions, such as its outdoor aquapark. We love it!
