If there’s one sign that summer is back in Paris, it’s when you can see the merry-go-rounds spinning in the heart of the Jardin des Tuileries. In this regard, there’s good news and bad news… For 2024, we won’t be able to afford a giant swing in the heart of the garden. However, all you have to do is head to the Bois de Boulogne to take full advantage of this event, exceptionally relocated to accommodate the Olympic Games.
In 2024, the Fête des Tuileries returns to the Bois de Boulogne
Every year, young and old alike look forward to one of their favorite events in Paris. The Fête des Tuileries, a joyous fun fair in the middle of the capital, is one of the events that signals the return of summer to Paris. The second largest funfair in the City of Lights behind the Foire du Trône the fair attracts thousands of people every year!
And while the summer of 2024 will be like no other, regulars to the Fête des Tuileries will have to change their habits. Unfortunately, this year’s funfair will not be taking place in its iconic setting. The holding of the Olympic Games, limiting access to the garden and Place de la Concorde, meant that the event had to be relocated.
To take advantage of the sixty or so rides, restaurants and guinguette at the Fête des Tuileries, you’ll have to head for the Bois de Boulogne, and more specifically the La Muette lawn. From June 22 to August 25, it’s a very special edition of the funfair, and as usual, admission is free!
