With the 16th season of Top Chef currently in full swing, we’re all salivating over the creations of the contestants. But if you want to take things to the next level and sample their cuisine, there are a number of restaurants featuring the show’s chefs, scattered all over the capital. Follow us for the best addresses.
GROOT
For this address, it was indeed two Top Chef candidates (including the winner of the competition) who combined their talents to open an unusual address. Hugo and Albane, known from the show’s 2023 season, have created a gourmet concept based around tourte! With GROOT, we can now taste several creative recipes out of the ordinary!
GROOT la Tourte – 34, rue Saint-Sauveur, 75002
Dame Augustine
Season 13 Top Chef aficionados will have recognized Lilian Douchet as the new chef at Dame Augustine, in the heart of the 13th arrondissement. “Gourmet but not overdone, balanced and totally liberated, but also natural yet sophisticated”. This is the mantra of this wildly successful establishment.
Dame Augustine – 32, avenue des Gobelin, 75013
MoSuke
As we all know, season 11 of Top Chef was one of the most popular in the show’s history. And among our favorites is, of course, Mory Sacko! After the competition, the chef opened MoSuke, halfway between Japanese and African gastronomy. Today, one Michelin star later, the chef continues to delight us!
MoSuke – 11 rue Raymond Losserand, 75014
ANONA
Chef Thibaut Spiwack is another popular choice, with several projects to his credit since taking part in Top Chef. His most successful? ANONA, his own gourmet restaurant on Boulevard des Batignolles. An address we recommend, but we’re not the only ones, since the Michelin guide has awarded it a star!
ANONA – 80, boulevard des Batignolles, 75017
Mallory Gabsi
Also a product of season 11, Mallory Gabsi opened his eponymous restaurant in early 2022. Building on his success, every day he welcomes numerous guests who have the chance to try out his daring combinations. Once again, it’s a talent that caught the eye of Michelin inspectors, earning him a star!
Mallory Gabsi – 28, rue des Acacias, 75017
Chocho
Season 12 contestant Thomas Chisholm is also in the running with Chocho. In the heart of the lively 10th arrondissement, you’ll find his audacious cuisine d’auteur, which many Parisians have already fallen for!
Chocho – 54, rue de Paradis, 75010
Substance
Another star for a Top Chef! With Substance, Matthias Marc has won over Michelin inspectors and Parisians alike with his no-holds-barred gastronomic cuisine. A must-try if you’re visiting the 16th arrondissement.
Substance – 18, rue de Chaillot, 75016
