How can we talk about the 9th arrondissement without mentioning the Opéra Garnier? This jewel of Haussmann architecture was built in the 19th century. Ranked among the three most beautiful theaters in the world, the Palais Garnier is undeniably one of the focal points of Parisian cultural life. The greatest composers and artists have trodden its parquet! A sublime place to discover.

At first glance, this church would seem to be straight out of ancient Greece. And yet, its construction dates back to the 19th century. Currently under renovation, it is a jewel of the neoclassical style. The interior won’t disappoint!

Les Galeries Lafayette and its rooftop
Obviously, shopping addicts are very familiar with these iconic galleries in the capital. Beyond the many ready-to-wear, leather goods and skincare brands, we strongly advise you to go there at least once to admire its sublime cupola. Its rooftop offering a 180° view of the whole of Paris is also well worth the detour.
Le Passage Jouffroy, one of the most beautiful passages in Paris’s 9th arrondissement
It’s certainly one of the most beautiful passages in Paris. Built in 1836, the passage Jouffroy extends the passage des Panoramas and is home to some very fine stores, including the Musée Grévin and the Maison du Roy. A sublime deco boutique, it almost looks like a cabinet of curiosities. Passage Jouffroy owes its charm to its sublime glass roof, which we never tire of admiring.

Pigalle Basket Court, a unique location in the 9th arrondissement of Paris
If you likedoing sport in the middle of Paris, then we recommend a trip to this cool basketball court. Here, you can play basketball 3×3 or 5×5 for free t. Nestled between two buildings, this unusual spot was entirely revamped and redesigned in 2020. The flooring, made from recycled rubber, is perfect to withstand any shock!
