The Scallop Festival in Montmartre
On January 24 and 25, 2026, the tradition returns to Place des Abbesses! For one weekend,come and enjoy free scallops from the Bay of Saint-Brieuc. A very friendly weekend, not to be missed and much appreciated by Parisians.

The Montmartre Harvest Festival
Montmartre definitely loves to transform itself into a party village! In October, the traditional grape harvest festival sets the pace on the hill. This event is eagerly awaited by all bon vivants, celebrating the annual harvest of the Clos Montmartre vineyards, one of the only vineyards still active in Paris.

Ganesh Festival

In the heart of summer, the Ganesh Festival celebrates the Indian god with an elephant head with a colorful procession, starting from the Sri Manicka Vinayakar Alayam Temple in the 18th arrondissement. Dancers and musicians usually accompany this colorful parade, dressed in splendid traditional saris. An absolutely magnificent and free show .

Chinese New Year

Speaking of impressive parades, you can’t miss Chinese New Year, which transports you to the Middle Kingdom every year without leaving the capital. Set to traditional music, dances, and stunning costumes, this year we will celebrate the Year of the Fire Horse, a sign of boldness and new beginnings.

The Paris Carnival
In March, the flamboyant Paris Carnival drives away the gloom and fills the Haussmannian streets with color! On the program: dazzling costumes and good cheer throughout the city. Although the Paris Carnival has unfortunately been canceled for 2026 due to financial problems, we hope it will return very soon to bring a sparkle to the eyes of all Parisians in 2027.
