Paris, home to urban wildlife
Starting in January, we’re off to explore Paris and the surrounding area! The aim is to discover the city from a different angle, and to familiarize ourselves with a little-known part of its history in order to track down signs of wildlife. You may not be aware of it, but the capital and its surroundings are home to millions of inhabitants and an incredible amount of wildlife! From the Père Lachaise cemetery to the parks, woods and forests of the region, animals have made this urban environment their territory! An exhibition highlights this wildlife, often unsuspected by Parisians!
An exhibition to discover wild Paris
Foxes, squirrels, owls and other creatures of the animal world will be taking up residence at Bercy Village for several months. The Paris Sauvage exhibition features shots by animal photographer Nicolas Davy, who captures this everyday presence!
These animals are often hidden, or only visible at night, and this exhibition will enable curious wildlife lovers to get a closer look at them and discover wildlife in an urban environment!
A fox resting on a bench, a beetle caught in the white disk of the moon or a squirrel in full leap… Come and meet these unusual inhabitants thanks to Davy’s spectacular photographs!
