One of the observer’s favorite pictures during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, Atelier Blam’s metal horse caused such a sensation that it was exhibited for several weeks at Paris City Hall. From March 3 onwards, it will be given a third chance, galloping off to several French and European cities on an exhibition tour.
After the Seine, the Olympic silver horse tours France and Europe
After the Hôtel de Ville during the Paralympic Games and the Château de Versailles in November, the Olympic Silver Horse is about to embark on a brilliant new exhibition tour. Owned by the Sanofi Group, Zeus will “criss-cross France and Europe in the spring and summer of 2025”, stopping off at iconic sites across France. For those who haven’t had the chance to see him in the Paris region, this is the perfect opportunity to catch up.
The horse will begin his tour at Porte Maillot on March 3, before being exhibited on the Promenade du Peyrou in Montpellier. The tour continues with stops in Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux and Rouen, before crossing the Rhine to Frankfurt. Finally, after stops at Mont Saint-Michel and Nantes, Zeus returns to the capital.
Created by Nantes-based design company Blam, which also designed the Olympic cauldron, the horse is the fruit of the labors of 25 employees from a variety of trades, including mechanics, welders and designers. A talented team who worked tirelessly for over a year to deliver a magical spectacle on July 26. In short, don’t miss the Zeus tour if you want to admire all the meticulous attention to detail.
