The Olympic cauldron, emblem of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, will make its grand return this summer to the heart of the Tuileries Gardens. This installation, which made a lasting impression with its poetic flights during the 2024 festivities, will be visible every year between June 23, Olympic and Paralympic Day, and September 14, the date of the new national holiday dedicated to sport and inclusion.
The Olympic Games cauldron is back!
This project is part of a desire to extend the legacy of the Paris 2024 Games and keep the Olympic spirit alive in the capital. The cauldron, which had captivated the whole world, will then become an unmissable summer rendezvous for Parisians and tourists alike. Like last summer, it will be installed in the heart of the Tuileries Gardens. The promise of an equally marvellous show.
The icing on the cake is that this event won’t be reserved for next summer alone, as the cauldron will return every year until 2028 and the Los Angeles Games. This gesture aims to strengthen the link between successive editions of the Games, while celebrating the universal values of sport. Every evening, the cauldron will light up in a luminous choreography inspired by the highlights of the 2024 Games, attracting Parisians and tourists alike.
Alongside this symbolic installation, sporting and cultural events will be organized around the cauldron throughout the summer. These events will include free sports initiations, exhibitions on the history of the Games and meetings with athletes.
A unique opportunity for everyone to relive the emotion and magic of the Games in an enchanting setting!
