Here we are, the beautiful summer light is finally here, and it’s time to put on your hiking boots to enjoy some of the region’s most beautiful hikes. By the way, we’ve already told you about a lovely walk along the banks of the banks of the Loing this escapade in the Vexin or this trail in the chevreuse valley. Today, we’re heading to the south-east of Paris to discover a great challenge, the Trans’Bleausarde, a beautiful itinerary that will take 1, 2 or 3 days to complete!
An adventure in the heart of Fontainebleau with this epic hike
Just like the circuit des 25 bosses this hike is set in the beautiful, verdant forest of Fontainebleau. And if you’d like to discover its treasures, here’s a perfect opportunity, as it simply runs the length of the green expanse. Departing from Fontainebleau, you’ll ride through woods and fields to the charming village of Barbizon, before tackling part of the famous 25 moguls, arriving in Milly-la-Forêt and finally reaching the finish at Maisse station.
In the heart of this verdant expanse, you can enjoy mountain biking, golf, trail riding and horseback riding. But it’s the hardened walkers who will get the most out of this incredible route. Along the way, you’ll find magnificent trails, breathtaking gorges and towers, all of which will punctuate your adventure . But heritage lovers will not be left out. The reason? Charming villages such as Milly-la-Forêt, Barbizon or Arbonne-la-Forêt, picturesque, historic little villages that we love!
A great way to fill up your weekend with the arrival (at last!) of fine weather. However, this demanding course is not for everyone, and requires a little preparation. Over 50 kilometers long and with a positive altitude difference of over 750 meters, it will put your legs and cardio system to the test. So pack your picnic lunches, plenty of water and good shoes. And don’t hesitate to plan your accommodation in advance! While the hike can indeed be completed in one day, we recommend dividing it into several sections and taking advantage of the local hospitality.
It’s up to you!
