A tempting burger chain, Le Camion qui Fume delights Parisians at its 3 Paris addresses and with its roving food truck. But it’s in the 11th arrondissement spot, in Parmentier, that every Thursday, wild evenings of (lots of) hot sauce are orchestrated. Inspired by the Hot Ones show, which tests guests’ resistance to spicy food, these evenings will put your nerves and body to the test!
Hot Ones in Paris at Le Camion qui Fume
Have you heard of Hot Ones? Broadcast on the First We Feast channel on Youtube, and picked up in France by Kyan Khojandi on Canal +, the show consists of an interview around 10 chicken wings, all flavored with hot sauce. And as the questions are asked, the wings get spicier and spicier, until they reach over 2 million on the Scoville scale. A huge American success that has been wonderfully exported to France, the concept inspired Le Camion qui Fume, which is now offering evenings based on this theme!
The idea: come along with some brave friends and enjoy a platter concocted in-house. Tenders, mac & cheese, French fries and onion rings: a whole host of delights have been assembled for the ultimate challenge. And of course, 10 hot sauces are also available, gradually increasing in strength. The challenge is yours! Milk and whipped cream are also provided to put an end to the fire.
Another Camion qui Fume concept is the Death Burger! Like a gourmet Russian roulette, each burger will be offered, except that only one will be topped with Hot Ones’ hottest sauce. A nice surprise awaits one of you.
If you’re a thrill-seeker, give it a try!
