For motorsports enthusiasts, the Formula 1 season always starts very early… especially when the first race takes place in Australia. This year, F1 fans will be able to experience the start of the championship in a different way than sitting alone in front of their TVs. On Sunday, March 8, 2026, a famous Parisian bar is organizing a dawn watch party to follow the Australian Grand Prix live.
Experience the Australian Grand Prix live with other enthusiasts
The event will take place at the Auto Passion Café, a well-known venue for motorsports fans located in the 14th arrondissement, near the Porte d’Orléans. The café will open its doors exceptionally at 4:30 a.m. to welcome spectators before the start of the race, scheduled for around 5 a.m. And for those who wish to prolong the experience, a breakfast menu will also be available with hot drinks, orange juice, and a buffet to accompany the broadcast of the race.
The Auto Passion Café was not chosen at random: open since the late 1990s, this establishment has become a must-visit destination for car enthusiasts in Paris. Its decor, entirely dedicated to the world of racing and race cars, makes it a gathering place for motorsports fans.
Once the race is over, participants will be able to try out the venue’s driving simulators during sessions organized from 7 a.m. This is a way to prolong the Grand Prix atmosphere and slip into the shoes of an F1 driver for a session.

This watch party also marks a symbolic moment for Formula 1 fans: the official launch of the season. After the winter break, 22 drivers will kick off the 2026 season, which promises some exciting surprises. A brand-new Grand Prix in Madrid, a new team, young rookies, and the return of experienced drivers to the grid: these are just some of the many reasons why 2026 will be an exciting and special year!
