Sundays in Paris take on a “The Great Gatsby” vibe. Since October 18, Le Prince de Galles, a Luxury Collection Hotel, has been serving up a new brunch in an Art Deco setting, complete with a live jazz band. The event runs through March 21, 2027!
Art Deco décor and a brunch set to the rhythm of jazz
The hotel opened its doors in 1929, at the height of the interwar boom, and draws on this historic legacy to immerse you in a brunch like no other. For its new Sunday brunch, the hotel invites you to the era of The Great Gatsby. The Art Deco dining room plays with the style of the era: deep black, gold, and ivory; crystal, brass, mirrors, and velvet—all bathed in soft lighting… With a live jazz performance to accompany the meal, you’ll feel as though you’re right in the heart of the Roaring Twenties!
As for the dishes, your taste buds are in for a treat! From the meticulously carved Beef Wellington to the Crêpes Suzette flambéed right before your eyes in just a few minutes, you’ll be amazed. The brunch features an all-you-can-eat menu of land and sea specialties, including Mediterranean dishes and a magnificent seafood spread: oysters, lobster salad or lobster rolls, scallops… As for desserts, pastry chef Hélène Kerloeguen has created all sorts of delights! Here, the rum baba and the Opera cake put a modern spin on the great classics of luxury hotels.
Cocktails inspired by the 1920s will also be available à la carte! In short, this new Sunday event is for anyone looking to escape the daily grind for a little while over a leisurely Sunday brunch.
