The Dôme des Invalides is one of Paris’s most popular monuments, and it’s easy to see why, given its significant historical importance. But did you know that a charming bistro has just opened right next to it? Located at the Army Museum, the Quartier 1670 bistro offers classic French dishes at affordable prices.
A traditional bouillon at the foot of Les Invalides

Opened in late 2025, this new gem nestled in the 7th arrondissement showcases French cuisine at very reasonable prices for the neighborhood. You can enjoy lovely appetizers ranging from 5 to 7 euros, such as delicious organic eggs with mayonnaise or a creamy pumpkin soup. For the main course, we highly recommend the old-fashioned veal blanquette, ultra-tender and served with mushrooms. There are also some lovely vegetarian options on the menu, such as a delicious sauerkraut dish that won’t make you miss the original recipe . Dishes range from 13 to 22 euros.

Of course, those with a sweet tooth won’t be left out, with tempting options ranging from €7 to €8 for desserts: chocolate mousse, flan, rum baba… We bet your mouth is already watering! Open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., this charming spot is perfect for any time of day!

And if you love new experiences, don’t miss Aura Invalides! A simply spectacular sound and light show that will tell you the story of the Dôme des Invalides in the most beautiful way possible.
