The world’s worst amusement park is just a 2-hour flight from Paris…
In its global ranking, the luggage storage website took the liberty of compiling over 90,000 reviews on 200 attractions spread across 34 countries worldwide. And it’s safe to say that Alton Towers stood out for its mediocrity… In fact, nearly 49.4% of the reviews collected are negative, with the global average standing at 10.9%…

18% of the negative reviews concern value for money, as well as the cost of admission to the park. Specifically, visitors note that the food and drink options are too expensive for the quality offered, but also the feeling of constantly having to dig into their pockets. Want access to all areas of the park? Or a skip-the-line pass? All of that will cost you a pretty penny…
Some, in fact, complain about a lack of clarity regarding what’s actually available on-site, where the areas that are truly accessible aren’t clearly marked, making the disappointment all the greater once you arrive… Yet on paper, everything seems to suggest this park is worth a visit: over 70 attractions, ten themed zones, and nearly 2 million visitors each year… In short, it’s up to you to form your own opinion!
