Manga fans beware! A Naruto-themed theme park is set to open in France in 2026. And it’s a first in Europe! Unfortunately for Parisians, it won’t be located on the outskirts of Paris, but in Monteux, near Avignon. This pretty town in Provence has already been home to a theme park for several years: Spirou. But now, for over two years, the park’s team has been working on an ambitious project: to create Europe’s first Naruto theme park. It’s a challenge we’ve taken up in partnership with Shueisha, TV Tokyo and Studio Pierrot, without whom the anime series would never have seen the light of day. From 2026, you’ll be able to stroll through the famous hidden village of Konoha, admire the sculpted faces of the Hokages on the mountain itself, and of course… try out some thrilling attractions!
Europe’s first Naruto theme park… 2 h 30 from Paris
This new theme park is just 2 h 30 from Paris by train! Located in Spirou Parc, in Monteux near Avignon, this theme park is set to cover an area of 15,000 m². You’ll discover the hidden village of Konoha, faithfully reproduced! You’ll find all the elements essential to the series, such as the Hokages’ office, the sculpted mountain representing the village’s former Hokages, and the mythical Ichiraku ramen where Naruto and his friends used to dine.

The park, which will total 1.5 hectares, will also feature a new area called “L’Examen Chunin”, with a course for ninja apprentices from an early age… You’ll also find life-size statues of the series’ leading characters: Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi… they’ll all be there! An opportunity for fans to immortalize their day by posing with their favorite heroes.
Two attractions already announced, including a thrill ride!
We already know that the new park will feature two attractions! The first, called Kyubi Unchained, will plunge you into Naruto’s inner world, where the nine-tailed fox demon attempts to free himself from his seal. You’ll have to summon your courage and try to subdue the demon, who has no intention of giving in… A thrilling ride that reaches speeds of up to 75 km/h, giving you a 76-second adrenaline rush!

The second, called Rasengan chakra rotation, is aimed at families and combines gentle sensations with futuristic design . Inspired by the hero’s fighting technique, it’ll take you on a whirlwind of fun! For the moment, there are no official dates for the park’s release, but we do know that it will be sometime in 2026!
