The magic comes to life at dawn: excitement, first encounters, and exceptional performances for the opening of World of Frozen
At 7:30 a.m., in front of the main gate of Disney Adventure World, hundreds of visitors wait in the cold, at 3°C. A mix of joy, impatience, and excitement creates an electric atmosphere. From the outside, the enthusiasm is palpable, especially for the media on site.
At 9 a.m., excitement reaches its peak when the children from the Make-A-Wish Foundation (which has granted over 25,000 wishes to critically ill children since 1992) arethe first to walk through the gates of the brand-new land dedicated to Frozen.
The day before, the press opening was celebrated in grand style, attended by media from around the world. An exceptional event calls for an exceptional celebration: on stage, singer Santa delivered a remarkable performance, with the snow-capped mountains of Arendelle as a backdrop. Surroundedby Anna, Elsa, and Olaf, she performed the iconic “Let It Go” in a grand production , concluding with spectacular fireworks. A particularly moving moment came when Santa sat down at an ice piano, joined by 11-year-old Lou, a guest of Make-A-Wish, who sang a few notes of “I’d Like to Be a Snowman.”
Throughout this opening weekend, many celebrities got an exclusive first look at the park’s transformation into Disney Adventure World, as well as the new World of Frozen land, with many rediscovering their inner child. Among them: Lucas Bravo and Camille Razat, who rose to fame in the series Emily in Paris, as well as Emma Bunton, icon of the Spice Girls, singer Louane, and star influencer Lena Situations.
But what exactly is there to discover in the heart of the Frozen World at Disneyland Paris? How can you make the most of your visit? What are the must-sees? Will visitors be able to meet the mischievous Olaf “in person”? Spotlight on this extraordinary immersion…
The incredible buzz around Frozen Ever After: the attraction where magic draws crowds
In the Kingdom of Arendelle, wonder reaches new heights. Dominated by the spectacular North Mountain, rising 36 meters high, and crowned by the dazzling Ice Palace, this Nordic kingdom impresses with its authenticity. Every detail, from the facades to the village streets, creates a setting more real than life, enhanced by the enchanting Festival of the Snowflake. Here, visitors truly feel as though they are stepping right into Disney Studios’ 53rd animated classic.
And this Sunday, March 29, the line in front of the Frozen Ever After attraction was impressive. As soon as the park opened, visitors rushed toward this major new attraction, despite the safety guidelines reiterated by Disneyland Paris. The excitement is palpable: thrills, anticipation, and that feeling of everyone reliving their childhood. But is the attraction worth the trip? Without a doubt, yes.

A true gem, Frozen Ever After takes visitors on a sensory odyssey that is simply spectacular. Thanks to state-of-the-art Audio-Animatronics®, immersive projections, and iconic songs, the experience transports us into a whirlwind of emotions. Aboard charming boats, the ride offers plenty of surprises and thrills, making this attraction an undeniable success.
Three hectares of magic, a special meet-and-greet with Anna and Elsa, and the ice fountain, a must-visit spot for souvenir photos

Another highlight: the Royal Meet-and-Greet with Anna and Elsa. A moment frozen in time, where young and old alike can chat with the two sisters and capture this encounter with PhotoPass.
In the center of the park, Adventure Bay stands out as a spectacular three-hectare setting. Families gather there to stroll, do some shopping (like the famous Olaf shoulder-sized plush toys), and capture their visit in front of the splendid ice crystal that sits atop the frosted fountain.
Another must-see moment: Celebration in Arendelle. This breathtaking show takes place on the lake, where three longships sail to the rhythm of the music, carrying Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and the villagers. Between choreographed water jets and spectacular lighting effects, the show offers an immersive and magical escape.
A massive nighttime show featuring 380 drones, an enchanted lantern festival, and a spectacular restaurant where the princesses join you at the table

Then, every evening, the bay lights up with Disney Cascade of Lights. This nighttime show of unprecedented scale transforms the lake into a living stage: over 380 drones, monumental fountains, and pyrotechnic effects orchestrate a luminous ballet of pure wonder.
Finally, Adventure Way reveals itself as an elegant and vibrant promenade, dedicated to travel and culinary delights. Between themed gardens, culinary experiences, and musical entertainment, the stroll leads to the Tangled Spin attraction, inspired by the famous Lantern Festival.

Refinement reaches its peak at The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, an Art Nouveau gem where fine dining and special encounters come together. In a sumptuous setting, adorned with paintings and portraits of princesses, visitors can meet Ariel, Jasmine, or even Merida while enjoying a refined meal with carefully crafted flavors.
Bonus: the secret spot to see Olaf

For fans of character meet-and-greets, and especially with the most endearing character from Frozen, there’s a great tip for catching a glimpse of Olaf…but you still need to know where to look. Contrary to what some had hoped, the most mischievous of snowmen doesn’t roam freely through the alleys of the World of Frozen land. So far, he has only wandered the streets of Arendelle during exclusive meet-and-greets with the press and influencers (stay tuned). For now, his presence is actually centered on the “Celebration in Arendelle” show, which takes place several times a day on Arendelle Bay. It is there, aboard the show’s boats, that he appears alongside Kristoff, Anna, and Elsa, offering the best opportunity to see him up close.
For the perfect view, position yourself on the left side of the large ice fountain, slightly set back from the main crowd. From there, you can watch Olaf aboard the boats, capture the moment in photos or video, and fully enjoy his interactions and animatronic movements. A little tip that’s sure to please!
Everyone is rushing to Frozen… and that’s great news for the rest of the park…
Amid all the excitement surrounding World of Frozen, it’s also the perfect opportunity to (re)discover the park’s other areas, which are much more accessible: shorter lines, smoother traffic… it’s a rare luxury that allows visitors to fully enjoy the rest of Disneyland Paris!
