For its 20thᵉ edition, the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte is once again decked out in its finest finery, transforming itself into a veritable fairytale. From November 15 to January 4, the magnificent estate celebrates two decades of magic and wonder through a never-before-seen creation: La Maison des Rêves. Inside, each room takes you into a dreamlike world worthy of the most beautiful Christmas stories. Along the way, you’ll discover giant fir trees, larger-than-life bears and a plush hot-air balloon, inviting you back into childhood. Each scene is a painting, an ode to poetry that transports you into a whirlwind of emotions.
On the second floor, young and old alike can admire the immersive show “ Un Noël sans fin”, inspired by Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”. A magical performance combining theater and mystery, where visitors are part of the story.
A glittering garden and a night-time show
At nightfall, thousands of lights illuminate the French-style garden designed by Le Nôtre. We also recommend taking part in the château’s outdoor activities, such as the magnificent real-ice skating rink.
But the highlight of the show is the magnificent illuminated façade. It tells the story of how, after a day of laughter at the château, the children fall asleep and are plunged into a poetic journey to the heart of the world of dreams. A masterly projection that will put stars in the eyes of spectators of all ages.
