A magical ice rink hidden away in an estate just outside Paris
Every year, the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte puts on its Christmas lights to enchant us during the festive season. The monument is decked out in its finest finery, enchanting young and old alike. You’ll see aisles of luminous fir trees, a superb mapping of the entire château, marvellous Christmas decorations… A dreamlike world, which this year will take you to the land of dreams. Every room in the château will take you on a journey to an imaginary world, where fluffy stuffed animals and magnificent fir trees await you…
The highlight of the show, however, is the gardens, which take on a fairy-tale atmosphere as night falls. This year, an ephemeral natural ice rink is set up in the center of the château’s main avenue, where you won’t miss a moment of the show. Children and adults alike can enjoy the fun every day from 11am to 7pm (except December 24 and 31). Until January 4, you can skate under the stars, admire the park’s spectacular illuminations, and discover this exceptional historic site in a whole new light. An absolutely magnificent ice rink, still too little known, yet one of the most beautiful in the Paris region. A must-see this winter!
