Auguste-Blanqui Boulevard will take on the atmosphere of a grand Asian market this Saturday, September 19, 2026. For its fourth edition, the Rice Market will return to the 13th arrondissement with an even broader program, centered not only on Asian cuisine but also on Asian cultures. From noon to 11 p.m., visitors can wander among the booths, sample dishes from various countries, and take part in a variety of activities. Admission will remain completely free.

This year, 11 Asian countries and territories will be represented through more than 50 culinary specialties. Vietnamese cuisine, dumplings, Japanese street food, Chinese dishes, and even more contemporary creations will be on the menu. Several restaurant owners will even prepare dishes specially created for the festival that aren’t usually on their menus.
The Rice Market 2026: a major Asian street food festival
Among the participants, the Bolkiri group will bring together three of its brands—Bolkiri, Rollroll, and Zhou Dumpling—while Usagi Délice will prepare its takoyaki right on site. Tang Frères will also take part in the event, notably featuring moon cakes as a nod to the Moon Festival taking place a few days later, on September 25.
The big new feature will be “Rice Cuisine,” a space where visitors can step behind the stove. Only six sessions will be held throughout the day, led by chefs and culinary creators, allowing participants to prepare various Asian dishes themselves—from chopping ingredients to cooking. Spots will be limited, and registration details will be announced on the festival’s Instagram account.

Some of the workshops will take place this year at Italie 2, a new partner of the event, while the boulevard will also host various cultural activities.
Finally, this fourth edition will take place one week before the Moon Festival, a major celebration in several Asian cultures traditionally associated with family reunions and sharing. The festival will embrace this spirit with a large open-air market in the heart of Paris’s Asian neighborhood.
