Since the beginning of the year, speculation has persisted about a possible return of the Bref series and its protagonist Kyan Khojandi. But since this week, the appearance of mysterious billboards, notably in the Paris metro, has further fuelled the rumor mill!
These posters in the metro hint at the return of Bref !
At the Reuilly-Diderot station and at the Westfield in Châtelet les Halles, many people have noticed these advertisements. On a black background, the message “re” is displayed, written in the same typography as that of the hit series released nearly 15 years ago. Relayed on X, these clichés have already provoked their fair share of reactions, particularly from fans who have made the link directly!

“I want to believe it”, “masterclass” or “oh my god I hope this is it”: whatever the case, this potential comeback has already set part of the web ablaze. If the latest rumors are to be believed, the actor and director, along with the writers and producers of the “short-com”, will indeed be back, still narrating the adventures of the main character, this time experiencing the joys of middle age.
Broadcast from 2011 to 2012 as part of Canal +’s Grand Journal, the series was a direct hit with viewers, revealing or showcasing a host of talents including Bérengère Krief, Baptiste Lecaplain and Kheiron. Built around 82 short episodes of one to three minutes each, the show was characterized by its lively editing and ultra-fast pace.
So, will we soon be seeing more of Kyan Khojandi ‘s adventures? We’ll just have to wait and see. But given fans’ enthusiasm for the campaign, we can already expect it to be a success.
