Once again this year, the town of Puteaux is organizing a very special race: the Santa Claus Race. A must for many years now, this fun, family-friendly race, open to all, will be blowing a breath of fresh air across the town from December 14 onwards. And you don’t have to be a great athlete to take part! Aspiring and experienced marathoners alike can choose between two races, and there’s plenty of fun to be had. The icing on the cake? You’ll have to put on your best Christmas suit… We’ll tell you all about it!
A Santa Claus race to mark the festive season
On December 14, don your sneakers and your best Christmas suit and get ready for the craziest race of your life. Puteaux town council has once again come up with a great idea to reorganize its much-loved Santa Claus Run. Open to runners of all abilities, you’ll have a choice of two routes through the town:
- A 3 km course, where families, beginners and walkers are welcome.
- A 5 km route, for the most motivated or the most trained.

With no timings or rankings, the race has just one aim: to put a smile on your face and spread good cheer. You’re invited to don your best Christmas hat, sweater or coat, and spread the cheer around you ! Free for children under 3, the event will cost you 5 euros if you’re a Putéolien and 10 euros if you’re not.
Registration is compulsory and can be done directly online, on the Puteaux Town Hall website, up to and including Thursday December 11, 2025. To pick up your number, you have two options:
- Saturday, December 13 from 10am to 5pm at the Palais des Sports
- Sunday, December 14 from 9.30am to 10.30am at the start area, on the Parvis de la Mairie de Puteaux.
A great way to spread the magic of the festive season, and set ourselves new challenges before the start of 2026!
