We announced it a few weeks ago, but now it’s official! The Navigo pass will indeed increase by two euros in 2026, to 90.80 euros per month… An expected increase, but one that inevitably puts a strain on finances… The reason for such an increase? A network that is expanding and modernizing (with the addition of lines 15, 16, 17 and 18, as well as cable 1 and Tzen 4 electric buses).
An increase in the price of the Navigo pass: the 1,000-euro annual mark passed
For the past three years, Ile-de-France Mobilités has been re-evaluating its fares in order to finance the development of its network. With ever-increasing development work, the addition of the new Tzen 4 electric bus and the Cable 1 cable car, as well as future metro lines (15, 16, 17 and 18) and tramway lines (T9, T10, T11, T12, T13), the price of the pass was bound to go up… On December 10, the Île-de-France Board of Directors voted the new fares for next year.
The monthly pass will therefore increase by 2 euros, from 88.80 euros to 90.80 euros per month. Here are the new fares that will apply from January 1, 2026:
-
- Metro-train-RER ticket: 2.55 euros
