A good Italian restaurant in Paris isn’t all that rare! But a good Italian restaurant that’s hearty and affordable—those are few and far between. A few weeks ago , a new Italian spot opened on Boulevard des Italiens… and it celebrates Italian cuisine (yes, you can’t make this stuff up).
At MA!, they cook exclusively with delicious fresh ingredients. The classic deviled egg is replaced here by a perfectly crispy soft-boiled egg with truffle. But the star of the restaurant is undoubtedly its fresh pasta, served with eight house-made sauces: pesto, al limon, arrabbiata, and vodka, alla genovese… all absolute hits!
Truffle lovers will be in heaven with the rigatoni gratin and its generous shavings of black truffle…. for less than 14 euros! On the dessert side, you’ll find the great classics of Italian cuisine that still make our hearts sing: pistachio panna cotta, tiramisu four ways, extra-fresh frosted lemon… You’re going to love it!
A very welcoming spot that smells like Italy. Heads up—we’d rather warn you— the restaurant doesn’t take reservations… And given its popularity, be prepared for a bit of a wait before you find a seat. But we promise, it’s worth it!
