Ora Farmhouse: the new Flexitarian table with a positive aura
A few days ago, the Paris Secret editorial team went to the opening of Ora Farmhouse. And if the name Ora rings a bell, it’s not for nothing. Connoisseurs of fine dining will have heard of Ora la Caserne a colorful vegetarian restaurant led by Chef Saayaan. At the heart of this resolutely festive restaurant, the Chef prepares the dishes right on the table, for a fiery show. And after leaving Paris’s 10th arrondissement, Ora now heads for the bucolic Parc des Buttes Chaumont. A country house-style restaurant, large tables, a chef who sets the scene… The stage is set.
Flexi… what?
And it’s in the heart of the splendid, completely reinvented Pavillon du Lac that Ora Farmhouse has taken up residence. Beautiful wood tables, vintage crockery as a nod to plants, huge picture windows, a bar adorned with flowers… The décor has been thought through to the smallest detail. And when it comes to cooking, there’s only one word to describe it: ethical!
In the heart of the splendid Pavillon du Lac, talented Chef Saayaan invites you to sample his Flexitarian cuisine. Ora Farmhouse is the embodiment of beauty and the beautiful, with its emphasis on seasonal vegetables. Vegetables are still the stars, but meat, poultry and fish are also available as options, with the aim of satisfying every guest, whether vegetarian or not.
In the evening, the Chef puts on a show right at the table, before our astonished eyes. The table is transformed into a poetic tableau, as the chef lays out each element of his dish on immaculate parchment paper. Shredded and tossed cauliflower, a flaming XXL pepper pot, homemade sauces laid out like ribbons of color… A work of art literally seems to take shape before our very eyes. And as well as being beautiful, the dishes are incredibly good. At Paris Secret, we’re telling you: Ora Farmhouse’s dishes are sure to win over even the most vegetable-averse!
The different Ora Farmhouse offers:
– Two courses in the evening, with a festive atmosphere during the second course.
– For lunch: no greaseproof paper, but beautiful checkered tablecloths, with plates to share (or not) from 4 to 14 euros.
– All day long at the Pavillon du Lac, continuous service with: fresh juices, detox juices, cocktails & mocktails, snacks and pastries. All in a picturesque country atmosphere.
– A Sunday Brunch at 36 euros presented on a wooden tray, combining a savoury & sweet offer. Fromage blanc with homemade honey, homemade granola, scrambled eggs, labneh chantilly, fluffy pancakes, vegetable karaage, the Chef’s pastries… Products sourced in short circuits are honored and sublimated.
And pssst: You can enjoy sandwiches, gourmet seasonal jars or ready-to-go cocktails on the spot or to take away. The best part? Order all these delicious dishes to take away in a picnic basket loaned for the occasion, with a large tablecloth in Ora’s colors. Perfect for picnicking on the grass of the Buttes Chaumont park in fine weather!
