A 17th-century gem nestled just 30 km from Paris, the Château d’Auvers is one of the iconic sites of the Valley of the Impressionists. And for good reason: Vincent van Gogh immortalized it in his painting *The Château d’Auvers at Sunset*, painted in 1890. The Dutch painter, best known for works such as *The Starry Night* and *Sunflowers*, is not the only one to have found inspiration in the landscapes of the Oise Valley. Daubigny, Pissarro, and even Cézanne also set up their easels there.

Every year, the Château d’Auvers unveils a rich cultural and artistic program where heritage, nature, and creativity come together. Currently, visitors can explore the exhibition “Van Gogh, Influencer: Legacies in Motion, ” which examines Vincent van Gogh’s artistic avant-gardism and the lasting impact of his work.

For film lovers and art enthusiasts, this is an event not to be missed. In July and August, at nightfall, three open-air evenings will bring cinema and Impressionism together through three screenings inspired by the world of these painters.
