From July 18 to August 11, 2024, discover the world’s very first skatepark designed in 3D. On the occasion of Olympic Games saint-Gobain has created a 400 m² skatepark, designed as a giant pinball machine. The latter will be accessible to all free of charge during all games. We’ll explain!
Paris 2024 Olympics: test the world’s first 3D skatepark
Located on the Esplanade de Paris La Défense, just a stone’s throw from the Tour Saint-Gobain, this open-air skatepark offers spectacular views of the Grande Arche de La Défense and the Arc de Triomphe.
What’s more? You can test it for free! It is open to everyone, whatever your level: family, skateboarders experienced players, beginners or people with disabilities will be able to practice from July 18 and during all the games.
Contrary to what you might think, this skatepark is very solid! The Saint-Gobain Skate Game is made from concrete modules produced using 3D printing. A world first! This eco-responsible technology allows us to use just the right amount of materials, thus avoiding excess waste. After the games, no waste! The system will be permanently relocated to a town in the Paris region.
A tailor-made creation for the Paris 2024 Olympic Committee, which wants these games to be as non-polluting as possible.
Highly inclusive, the skatepark is made up of original modules to suit all levels. Wheelchair users, for example, will be able to progress safely in a space adapted to their disability.
Whether you’ve been riding like a pro for years, or want to discover this urban sport, there’s every reason to try out the Saint-Gobain Skate Game.
