La Butte d’Orgemont, a nature park on the outskirts of Paris
They say it’s the most beautiful view in Argenteuil! For the past year, walkers and sightseers from the Paris region looking for a bit of nature have been able to explorethe stunning natural park of the Butte d’Orgemont. This former quarry, long used for gypsum mining, took over 20 years to be filled in before becoming this vast green space of nearly 40 hectares.

From its height of 120 meters, you’ll discover lush nature, featuring tree species selected from the south that are known for their resilience in extreme heat. Walkers with limited mobility can also reach the park via an access point to the plateau designed for them. From up there, the view of all of Paris is breathtaking! You’ll see the buildings of La Défense, the Sacré-Cœur, and even the Eiffel Tower!
A magical place, still little known to the general public, that will give you the breath of fresh air you deserve!
