A bucolic getaway 2 hours from Paris
Our grandmothers used to say, “April doesn’t take you by surprise” . And yet, at Cheverny, it’s in April that the tulips are at the height of their beauty. Yes, every spring for the past 10 years, the tulip has reigned supreme at the heart of the Château de Cheverny’s three gardens. Last year, the number of bulbs even doubled. In autumn, over 500,000 bulbs were planted, forming not one, but two tulip ribbons. Simply spectacular!

Nestled in the Centre-Val de Loire region of France, the château is now a mecca of history and culture. A Grand Siècle atmosphere pervades the estate. Château tours, gardens as far as the eye can see, leisure activities for the whole family… A myriad of activities for young and old alike.
