As you likely know, the first MF19 metro trains were launched in October 2025 on Line 10. This project is ongoing, as this brand-new train will gradually replace the trains on Lines 3, 3bis, 7, 7bis, 8, 12, and 13. To adapt the current infrastructure to accommodate these new trains, closures are scheduled starting at 10 p.m. on Line 12. The line will be completely closed 18 times starting May 10… Here are the details!
Line 12 to close starting in May
Unfortunately for the thousands of passengers who use Line 12 daily, the line will undergo major construction work that will impact their commutes. Starting May 10, the entire line will be completely closed to passengers starting at 10 p.m. Specifically, this will involve:

- July 1, 5, 8, and 9
- July 19, 23, 26, and 30
And as if that weren’t enough, Line 12 will becompletely closed all day between the Porte de Versailles and Mairie d’Issy stations on Sunday, May 31. This summer, the line will also be closed between Jules Joffrin and Concorde from July 16 to 26. This is sure to complicate travel for many Parisians…
As expected, various alternatives will be offered, such as replacement buses . In particular, we know that from July 16 to 26, 2026, bus lines 42, 60, and 80 will be reinforced. The RATP nevertheless urges its passengers to plan their trips in advanceand to opt for other modes of transportation over the coming days.
