A Japanese culinary festival every month in Paris
Throughout the year, JapanFes takes place once or twice a month in fifteen emblematic Parisian venues. These include the Arc de Triomphe, Hôtel de Ville and the parvis de l’église de la Madeleine, which have already welcomed several thousand visitors since the start of the year.
Entirely dedicated to Japanese gastronomy, you’ll find various stands offering traditional dishes, street-food and gourmet desserts. You’ll be able to sample well-known specialties such as onigiri, matcha, sushi… But also lesser-known dishes such as okonomiyakis (a kind of Japanese omelette), takoyakis (octopus dumplings) or dorayakis (Japanese pancakes filled with sweetened red bean paste)…. In short, with all these sweet and savoury treats to eat on the go all day long, you won’t go hungry!
Of course, you’ll also be able to buy Japanese handicrafts, including crockery, tea, kimonos, darumas, decorative objects and many other surprises…
