While Paris is overflowing with cosy, comforting winter spots, few are as impressive and unusual as Il Cottage, a veritable hot spot between ski resort and winter chalet in the Porte Dauphine district. Let us introduce you to this unusual address, which could well become your new winter HQ!
Il Cottage: the Italian Alps in Paris
In the family of unusual winter cheese spots, we ask: Il Cottage! Il Cottage is the only high-altitude chalet on the first floor… A food truck, a yurt, a winter chalet, this lovely address will take you back in the footsteps of Les Bronzés font du ski with its Italian menu offering pizzas (of course) and raclette every evening! We’ll be there in a flash!
A hybrid venue par excellence, Il Cottage combines all the attributes of the ideal spot to spend the winter under the best possible auspices. On its gigantic terrace, under a blanket in the small chalet-style spaces, or even in a yurt imported directly from Mongolia, you can enjoy good food with transalpine flavors!
At La Casa, which doubles as a large restaurant, you’ll be able to choose from a wide range of Italian and mountain specialities. From charcuterie boards, tasty pizzas and fresh egg pastas, to raclette and croziflette, the menu is sure to please. Otherwise, for a quick bite or a drink, you’ll have to head to La Baracca! The food truck’s menu includes good Roman pizza by the slice, delicacies and everything you need to quench your thirst. Finally, the Terrazza bar could well become the scene of your aperitifs, thanks to its many cocktails and cold drinks.
