One year after its inauguration, the Hangar Y once again sets the pace in Paris with a superb summer guinguette. On the program: a lovely green terrace, entertainment and DJ sets, and the first-ever open-air cinema! At the gateway to Paris, a new cultural and bucolic rendezvous awaits us.
An open-air cinema at the Hangar Y for sunny days
We told you about it last year, the inauguration of Hangar Y and its monumental hall in Meudon caused quite a stir on the Parisian cultural scene. Today, this magnificent setting will be home not only to a guinguette, but also to an open-air cinema. With Ciné Tarmac at the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace, the Monnaie de Paris or the courtyard of the Plaza Athénée a new open-air cinema has been added to our list.
Cinephile friends, there’s a lot to look forward to! Le Hangar Y offers you not one, not two, but eight film screenings in its green space. Dates are set for June 14 and 28, July 5, 12 and 19, and September 6, 13 and 28. As far as the Program is concerned, we only know the first two films to be shown, namely Billy Elliott on June 14, and Cédric Klapisch’sEn Corps on June 28.
And while the works will be shown from 10:30pm, you’ll have the whole afternoon to enjoy the cultural venue’s flower-filled guinguette. On the Program, a new menu, a host of events and fiery DJ sets to get you dancing under the sun.
It’s up to you!
