To all food lovers in and around Paris, we’ve got a new and exciting event on Sunday October 6. With the Grand Paris Food Tour, we’re talking about a dozen “gastronomic walks” organized between Hauts-de-Seine and Seine-Saint-Denis in a single day, and all for just €5 per stroll. An opportunity to discover the treasures of Greater Paris, while saving money.
Low-cost culinary walks in Greater Paris
And here’s a welcome new culinary rendezvous in the Paris region! Following in the footsteps of No Diet Club ‘s food tours and the Belleville Food Market, a new event has just appeared on the Paris culinary scene. A Sunday like no other awaits us this Sunday, thanks to ten strolls orchestrated around the region’s gastronomy and crafts. For a small fee of 5 euros, you can take part in the stroll and discover all the expertise of the artisans of Greater Paris.
On foot or by bike, you’ll go from place to place, visiting restaurants and factories and learning a little more about the culinary heritage of the area. All you have to do is follow the expert guides called in for the occasion, and enjoy! For example, a food tour in Saint-Ouen will take you to the town’s delicatessens, wine cellars and patisseries. You can also visit the Saint-Denis market and sample a bouquet garni, or create your own cheese board at the Fromagerie du Pré-Saint-Gervais.
A wonderful culinary adventure awaits you this weekend, and remember, these gastronomic walks are available for €5 admission! And don’t forget that the day will end with some great cooking workshops at La Communale, Europe’s largest food court!
