To celebrate the Olympic Games together and free of charge, head for the Terrasse des Jeux. A site of festivities AND competition, this XXL ephemeral terrace will take its place on the Parvis de l’Hotel de Ville from Saturday July 20 to September 8, 2024, without interruption. 2 giant screens for live broadcasts of competitions, 6 sports and para-sports practice areas, a stage with shows and entertainment… The Games Terrace is a venue accessible free of charge. A unifying place, where it’s good to get together.

Free activities for the Olympics: the skatepark in the shape of a giant pinball machine at La Défense
A free, ultra-fun skatepark for summer sports? This is the colorful project of Paris La Défense. During the Olympic Games, visit the Saint-Gobain Skate Game, an eco-responsible and inclusive ephemeral skatepark. A 400 m2 skateboarding area in the shape of a giant pinball machine, skateboarding demonstrations, armchair skateboarding and freestyle scooter… What else?

Take advantage of the free outdoor exhibition “Beauty and Gesture” at the French National Assembly
Want to enjoy a free open-air exhibition on the theme of the Olympic Games? Laurent Perbos’ outdoor installation “La Beauté et le Geste” is currently taking over the forecourt of the Assemblée Nationale. For the occasion, 6 colorful Venuses de Milo were redesigned by the artist. They each represent a sporting discipline: tennis, surfing, para archery, basketball, boxing and javelin throwing.

And another skatepark for the Olympics, one! This summer and until September 15, the Centre Pompidou will be presenting “Cycloïde Piazza” by Raphaël Zarka on its forecourt. Free activities during the Olympic Games: Paris Plages at the Canal Saint-Martin
During the Olympic Games, Paris Plages is the place to be for sports, relaxation and refreshment, and for this year’s edition, a newcomer joins the club: the iconic Canal Saint-Martin! Every day from Point Éphémère to the Emmanuelle Riva footbridge: 8 stops with a host of sports and entertainment activities, including dance, street art, basketball and ping-pong. A beach, a bowling green, deckchairs and parasols, giant play areas… It’s a great place to stroll (and work out) during the Olympic Games at the Canal Saint-Martin

The free open-air exhibition “Les 4 Cardinales du sport” and its stained-glass sculptures on the Canal Saint Martin
After a detour to Paris Plages, we stay on the Canal Saint Martin with the outdoor exhibition “Les 4 Cardinales du Sport”, stained-glass sculptures given away free of charge on the Belvédère Claude-Gérard Marcus. Designed by Gad Weil and Alexandra Castaing, these sculptures promote one of the great values of sport: equality! Their essence is to pay tribute to women and people with disabilities.
