Play and discover! The Cité des sciences et de l’ industrie is preparing a ” Grande fête des enfants” on December 7 and 8! On the program: workshops, activities and demonstrations for a fun approach to science!
A festive weekend for children at the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie
This weekend, the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie will be making scientific culture even more accessible than usual to young audiences! With its first-ever event, the Grande fête des enfants, the institution will be adding a healthy dose of entertainment to scientific knowledge. Experiments, demonstrations, discoveries, games… the proposals and activities will be just as playful and surprising as they are numerous in this venue, which is rolling out the red carpet for kids on December 7 and 8! Young and old alike are welcome at this XXL science festival!
An explosive program to explore science in an entertaining way
The Cité des sciences et de l’ industrie had to think of a way of celebrating science and inviting children to join in the fun! For two days, the venue will be transformed into a recreational laboratory!
For this major event, the Cité has put together a dense and varied program, suitable for all ages (from 3 upwards)! Children will be testing, experimenting, learning, manipulating and, above all, having fun!
Liquid nitrogen ice cream tastings, recording of a personalized 45t, slush workshop, introduction to polarizing art, perfume workshop, insect investigation, paper gifs workshop… The program is mind-blowing, and not just for kids! To round things off, DJ Dizonord will heat up his turntables on Saturday (4.45pm) and Sunday (5.45pm) for a well-deserved party after hours of scientific exploration!
