After the opening of the Marvel Avengers Campusthe 1st Hotel dedicated toMarvelart and the reopening of the “It’s a Small World” attraction, Disney is not done with new attractions. Just a few months after the reopening of the Disneyland Hotel, its new fairytale hotel the famous theme park unveils the outline of its “Disney Adventure World”. Land XXL dedicated to the Frozen, Tangled attraction, giant lake… a brand-new area twice the size will replace the current Walt Disney Studios. Disneyland Paris’ “Disney Adventure World” takes shape:
This Friday, April 12, 2024, Disneyland Paris lifted the veil on its ambitious new plans. To write this new chapter, the famous theme park has decided to rename its park “Walt Disney Studio” and transform it into “Disney Adventure World“. And as its name suggests, this completely redesigned park promises incredible epics for young and old alike.
A “Frozen” Land, a 70,000 m2 lake, a Tangled attraction… Surprises ..:
To bring this brand-new park to life, Disneyland Paris spared no expense. A total of 2 billion euros has been invested, and a titanic construction project began five years ago. The former Walt Disney Studio Park (soon to be Disney Adventure World) will be expanded from 25 hectares to 50. But what exactly are the fairytale novelties promised by Disney? The enchantment begins with a land entirely dedicated to the Snow Queen, aptly named ” World of Frozen“. Dreamers of all ages can wander through Arendelle, the icy town of the famous princess with long, flowing blond hair. A life-size re-enactment which – we hope – will soon be “delivered”. Another big surprise: a huge 70,000 m2 lake! Water shows, fountains, music, light shows, special effects… This new area promises to be a real treat for die-hard Disneyland Paris fans.
Disney Adventure World will also be marked by the opening of a brand-new attraction dedicated to Princess Tangled. Called ” Tangled Spin”, this family attraction will invite visitors to relive the scene where Tangled and Flynn are both on a boat, ready to witness a mirific lantern release. The attraction will be somewhat inspired by Disneyland Paris’ famous Alice in Wonderland mugs, but with a hint of magic.
New hotel renovations, Disney Village and the creation of a ” The Lion King ” zone?
In recent years, Disneyland Paris has sought to perfect the enchanting experience for its visitors. This has resulted in the inauguration of the Marvel Hotel and the transformation of the sublime Disneyland Hotel, which promises magical nights. And to ensure that its fans enjoy every possible comfort, Disneyland Paris intends to continue its metamorphosis. The Disney Davy Crockett Ranch Hotel will be getting a facelift, with the replacement of all its bungalows.
Disney Village’s stores will soon be redesigned to offer visitors an optimal shopping experience. Between now and the end of the year, 2 new Disney Store concepts will be launched, and the famous Disney Store will be redesigned. By the end of 2024, the LEGO Shop in Disney Village will also have undergone a facelift, with the introduction of photo points, XXL decorative LEGO sculptures and interactive play stations.
The icing on the cake? A new “The Lion King” zone could be coming to Disneyland Paris in the not-too-distant future. This is the rumour launched by Le Parisien and we’re obviously overjoyed. The Parisian media already claim to have some information on the subject. To be continued..
