Knitting and you are in it for life, so don’t miss this special cinema session that’s been designed with you in mind! Every month, a cinema in the 5th arrondissement offers a ciné-club for knitters and crocheters, called Ciné-mailles!
Ciné-mailles, the original screening that combines a passion for knitting and 7th art
In this darkened room in the 5th arrondissement, we’re not surprised to see you taking out your work-in-progress – on the contrary! A few months ago, the Studio des Ursulines teamed up with the Club Crochet Tricot Paris to organize special screenings called Ciné-Mailles!
During these screenings, everything is done to enable you to enjoy a good film and knit at the same time! With subdued lighting and films shown in French so you don’t have to worry about reading subtitles, the cinema has never been so knitting-friendly! For fans of the original version, there’s even a VOST session dedicated to them!
Every month, Ciné-mailles screens a feature film, and after Barbie and Le Voyage de Chihiro, Moonrise Kingdom has been chosen! Ciné-mailles ends its first season with this Wes Anderson film, which will be shown from July 1 to 4! Cinephiles, pick up your needles!
