The sumptuous Shangri-La Paris invites you to feast and savor for Chinese New Year. On the program? An exceptional menu at the Shang Palace restaurant, from January 19 to 23. On Sunday January 22, head to La Bauhinia for a special Lunar New Year Palace Brunch. Asian decorations, Dim Sum and Baos prepared in front of our guests’ eyes… the atmosphere promises to be incredible! In Paris, the Musée Guimet also intends to celebrate the Year of the Water Rabbit in style. To mark the occasion, the Musée national des arts asiatiques invites you to a weekend of events. Saturday, January 28? A Lion Dance by the Pak Mei association at 2.30pm and a special Lunar New Year reading for young audiences at 3.15pm and 4.15pm. On Sunday January 29, take part in open origami workshops with Origamix, followed by a Chinese New Year storytelling tour with Justine Perrichon.
